SY-valve What are the differences between metal and rubber seals types of valve?

Metal seal type

Metal-seal-type

• Have durability and long life.

• Have a small amount of air leakage due to the air gap clearance between sliding parts.

• Micro particles of foreign materials may tend to adhere. High filtration mist separator is required.

• Fast response time.Suitable for continuous duty cycle.

Rubber seal type

• Low air leakage

• Seal material may be affected by certain oils or the content of exhaust air.

• Less responsive than metal seal type.

• Suitable for intermittent duty cycle.
